Corporate Yoga Programs

Employers today recognize that a physically fit workforce is more valuable and productive because it stays healthier and is generally happier. Corporate exercise programs have existed for some time-- some companies have in-house gyms, some offer health club membership-- but there are few programs that match the all round benefits that a regular yoga practice can bring. What's more, everyone can do it!

To provide Yoga classes and workshops designed to increase employee productivity, mental and physical health, and well being for optimal workforce performance.


Our Purpose
Yoga is a scientific discipline of removing or eradicating stress and tension at its source. All tension, both physical and mental, is stored somewhere in the body and true stress reduction is a matter of discovering how to release that tension on both levels. Yoga programs directly address tension in both the body and the mind. Our classes remove stress from both sources since tension in one area has a direct effect on the other. Our classes offer simple, safe, and practical techniques that quickly reduce tension and stress at any time and place, especially in the office.


Our programs provide you with the following:



  • Ways to identify stress signals and indicators

  • Posture improvement for tension management

  • Strength building for greater resistance to stress

  • Techniques for the workplace designed to alleviate tension before it builds into stress

  • Safe exercises (designed over 5,000 years ago) that bring more energy to the body

  • Breathing techniques that support healthy "Mood Management"

Hatha Yoga balances all the systems in the body, toning the nervous system, releasing anxiety and promoting inner harmony. Students will learn various breathing techniques to use in daily situations, along with yoga postures to relieve back discomfort by strengthening, stretching and relaxing the muscles.


One class a week will develop concentration, focus and mental flexibility. It will strengthen the immune system, reducing absenteeism from work. It will also compliment your working community and team building efforts, as well as, provide each staff member a time for personal development


Implementation
A series of outlined courses are available, which are divided into 8-week sessions. They run in succession, building upon each other students becomes more familiar and committed to the practice.


Morning Option: The program can commence at 7:30 am, continuing for 60 minutes.


Lunch Time Yoga: This program is held during work hours, beginning either at 12:00 pm or at 1:00 pm and lasting for 55 minutes.


Venue: Classes can be conducted either at a Yoga Limbs studio or on-site at your company's office (providing the suitability of facilities for Yoga).
